Police nab 26 accused during targeted actions

According to a press release issued here on Monday, the accused were arrested during raids in the limits of Pirabad, SITE, Baldia, Madina Colony and Docks police stations of District West.

It said that most of the accused were involved in street crimes.

Snatched goods including cell phones, cash, ten pistols and narcotics were recovered from their possession.

Further investigation is underway.

The District West police also arrested eight absconders, it further said.
