Fehmida Mirza visits over 20 villages
BADIN: As upcoming general elections are nearing and pre-election political activities start in the country, Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza along with former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfikar Miarza and MPA Barrister Hasnain Mirza on Saturday visited over 20 villages of Badin, including Wasi Pir Aali Shah, Malook Channa, Raees Nabi Bux Bhurgri, Lawari Sharif, Islmail Khan Jamali, Kadhan, Babu Khan Chang and Seerani, where she inaugurated various uplift schemes of gas, power supply and road carpeting.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that they had given practical proof of serving people by ensuring uplift works in various areas.
“We have always been with people in their tough times.” She said: “Our relation with people is old. We are from people and people are from us.”
She said that the PPP democratic government has carried out a record and historical development work in the country.
