LAHORE: Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran (TMQ) chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri returned to his hometown here on Friday after calling off his four-day long sit-in in Islamabad.
He called off his long march on Thursday night after reaching an agreement with the government.
Earlier, on Thursday night Tahirul Qadri came out of his bulletproof container near D- Chowk in Islamabad following an agreement with the government and left for Lahore, leaving thousands of his followers celebrating the happy end.
