KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has strongly condemned the assassination of the member of Sindh Assembly from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Manzar Imam.
A statement here on Thursday said that he has directed the Inspector General Police (IGP), Sindh, to immediately arrest those involved in the killing.
Qaim Ali Shah termed the assassination of the MPA as a big conspiracy aimed at marring the peace in the metropolis and harming the economy of the country.
He also offered condolences to the chief of the MQM, Altaf Hussain.
The Chief Minister also directed the IGP Sindh and other police officers to keep a vigilant eye on criminals, militants and terrorists.
