Karachi's situation considerably improved: Ebad KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan has said that the federal and provincial governments and law enforcement agencies are focused on elimination of crimes from the metropolis without any discrimination.Talking to Canadian High Commissioner Heather Cruden at Governor House here, he said that situation has considerably improved due to law enforcement agencies' efforts and it is being acknowledged at every level, said a handout issued here on Wednesday.He said that Karachi, being a port city, is very suitable for business and investment, as supply and export of goods is easy from here.The Governor said that investment is possible in infrastructure,water supply and sanitation projects in the city, adding that good profits can be earned from value-addition in the field of agriculture.Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan said that uninterrupted power supply to industries is being ensured.He said that gradual improvement in law and order situation is attracting investors to the city.The ...

Gas pipeline blown up In Dera Bugti QUETTA: Unidentified men blew up a gas pipeline in Killi Mat of Pirkoh area in Dera Bugti district on Sunday. PBM spends Rs890.742mn on 33 PSHs in five years ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bait-ul- Mal (PBM) had spent a sum of Rs. 890.742 million on providing basic amenities to orphans residing in 33 Pakistan Sweet Homes (PSHs) situated across the country from 2009-10 to 2013-14.
