Sindh govt to launch fourth phase of R O plants installation in desert areas KARACHI: Sindh Government will launch the fourth phase of Reverse Osmosis (R.O) Plants installation under Drinking Water Hub (DWH) project in the desert areas of Thar, Badin and Mirpurkhas districts in addition to providing 18 R.O plants in District West and 10 in each remaining district of Karachi.This was decided at a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here Friday, to review the implementation on DWH project.The Chief Minister directed the authorities concerned to conduct a survey and prepare PC-I for phase-4 of the DWH project within one month.He also directed the concerned executing agency to complete the installation of remaining 450 R.O. plants in District Tharparkar by the end of September 2015, where out of 750 scheduled R.O plants 300 have already been installed and made functional under DWH project.He directed the executing agency to complete the installation of remaining 450 R.O. plants by the ...
