ISLAMABAD: Pakistani buffalo scientists topped amongst all countries in terms of numbers in making scientific contributions in their presentations in symposia on reproduction, breeding and genetics, nutrition, dairy, meat and socio economic aspects in the three days World Buffalo Congress.As many as 18 participants led by Prof. Talat Pasha Vice Chancellor, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore participated in the joint 10th World Buffalo and 7th Asian Buffalo Congress at Phuket Thailand, where over 350 delegates from 36 countries took interest in buffalo research and development, Technology Times Reported.Prof. Pasha spoke about the challenges faced by the producers in feeding the buffaloes, the available feeding resource and the new ways of feeding to maximize the growth and production potential of buffaloes.
