Senate body discusses performance of Protectorate of Emigrants' offices ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Department in its meeting held here on Thursday discussed in detail the working of offices of Protectorate of Emigrants in different cities of the country and the ways to make these more viable for safe emigration of workforce in the other countries.Chaired by Senator Baz Muhammad Khan, the committee also discussed working, functions and performance of Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE).Director General, BEOE Rana Matloob Ahmad briefed the committee members about the performance of the bureau and suggested to form a parliamentary forum on migration to make strategies to bring further improvement in the working of all the relevant institution.He suggested forming a commission under the supervision of Prime Minister to decide appointments of high level posts on merit.Responding to these suggestions, Senator Lt.
