ISLAMABAD: The prices of most of the fruits and vegetable is decreased in the sasta bazaars of Islamabad, however tomato price has registered increase.
According to daily rate list issued by District Administration Islamabad, apples being available at Rs 40 to 180 per kg, Banana Rs 50 to 126 per dozen, mango at Rs 45 to 75 per kg, pear at Rs 45, plum at Rs 105 to 190, guavas are available at Rs 52, Peach at Rs. 50 to 80, grapes Rs. 118 to 180 per kg, apricot Rs. 50 to 100 per kg and dates Rs. 90 to 170 per kg.
According to rate list, the prices of vegetable, tomato prices have been increased by 20 rupees in a week. The current price is Rs 60 per kg, potato is being sold at Rs 33 per kg, onion Rs 35 per kg, lemon Rs 135 per kg, lady finger Rs 30 per kg, brinjal Rs 17 per kg, green paper Rs. 55 per kg, green chilli Rs 35 per kg, spinach Rs 16 per kg, cauliflower Rs 54 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 15 per kg and carrot available at Rs 26.
