LAHORE: Pakistan Industrial & Traders Association Front (PIAF) on Wednesday hailed the appointment of Zafar Mahmood as Federal Secretary, Ministry of Water & Power, and said that his strategy particularly would be most helpful in boosting trade between Pakistan and India.
In a press statement issued here, the Chairman PIAF Engr. Sohail Lashari said that the appointment of Zafar Mahmood will yield good result.
He hoped that Zafar Mehmood would evolve a comprehensive strategy with the consultation of business community to end unscheduled power outages.
Lashari said that as Federal Secretary Commerce, Zafar Mahmood had rendered marvelous services for the trade and industry, particularly his strategy was most helpful in boosting the Pak-India Trade.
He further said that the newly appointed federal secretary is well versed with the issues being faced by the business community therefore he would give priority to trade and industry as far as electricity supply is concerned.
Engr. Sohail Lashari said that the business community will extend every possible cooperation to the federal secretary in the larger interest of the country.
