LAHORE: A sixteen-member delegation from Jhang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) visited the Regional Office of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Lahore on Thursday.
Vice President and Regional Chairman FPCCI Mian Rehman Aziz while welcoming the delegation gave a comprehensive briefing on the role of the FPCCI and its activities on national and international level.
The delegates raised various questions on bilateral trade and economic relations with neighbouring countries, role of FPCCI in national budget and economic policies, tax to GDP, law and order situation, revival of economy etc.
Mian Rehman Aziz, Regional Chairman and Vice President of the FPCCI, said the FPCCI had prepared comprehensive budget proposals for the federal budget 2016/17.
The main objective of the budget proposals was to bring liberal investment policy, infrastructure development and creating jobs through industrialization, he added.
Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the business community will continue to play its role for the revival of economic activities in the country.
In the end, the crest was presented to Muhammad Umar Ramay, President of Jhang Chambers of Commerce and Industry by Iftikhar Ali Malik Vice President SAARC Chamber and Rehman Aziz Regional Chairman FPCCI.
