KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) is committed to enhance trade relations of Pakistan with all countries including Turkey,says Abdul Rahim Janoo, FPCCI's Senior Vice President.
He was talking to a delegation of DS-Concept Turkey, the leading trade finance facilitating company, here at the Federation House.
Arzu Celik, Head of Business Development, DS-Concept Turkey and Syed Qaseem Hussain Jaffri, Country Head, DS-Concept Pakistan Liaison office and other staff members Nausheen Nazir, Fatima Nissa and Syed Zain Shah were also present, said FPCCI press release on Tuesday.
Janoo said Pakistan and Turkey enjoy cordial relations which have benefitted both the countries especially in social, economic, education, cultural and technical sectors. Now, Pakistan is one of the major trade partners of Turkey. The DS-Concept team invited FPCCI's Senior Vice President to participate along with a FPCCI delegation in an Expo scheduled to be held in August 2015 in Turkey. He assured about the participation. He said the business communities of Pakistan and Turkey have played vital role for the improvement of bilateral relationships. Thus, the growth in trade from both sides is encouraging.
" Both the countries have spirit of friendship and cooperation. They have similar views on most international issues and have been supporting each other at various international forums. Both countries have exchanged various delegations throughout the years", he added. He also appreciated the large/encouraging participation of the Turkish delegation in the recently held Expo organized by FPCCI and suggested for a meeting with the Istanbul Chambers of Commerce during his visit to Turkey.
