FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) president Engineer Rizwan Ashraf has welcomed the assurance of Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to clear all pending Refund Claims (RC) of textile exporters by February 28.
In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that huge sales tax RC up to Rs. 102 billion were pending with FBR, adding that chairman FBR would monitor the process of the payments of RCs on daily basis to ensure clearance of all claims.
He also demanded that cheque for the amount of refund claim should be collected and same cheque could be returned back to the concerned exporter on completion of its export proceed.
