Balochistan govt increases subsidized rate for purchase of wheat

QUETTA: Balochistan government has announced a Rs. 50 increase in subsidized rate for purchase of per 40 kilogram of wheat from farmers in the province.

Provincial Secretary for Food Saleem Awan here Sunday said the subsidized rate for purchase had been increased from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1250 per 40 kilograms in the province.

He said the increase in subsidized rate of wheat would enable farmers to sell their wheat crops on better rates.
