FAISALABAD: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is determined to ensure maximum incentives and facilities to exporters.
This was stated by TDAP CEO S.M. Munir while talking to a delegation of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) which met him at Iqbal Rice Mills, Chiniot, on Saturday.
He said that business community and industrialists have to play their proactive role to achieve the cherished objective of progress and prosperity.
He acknowledged the importance of Faisalabad in national economy and said that TDAP would ensure representation of Faisalabad in important policy decisions at its level.
Earlier, Engineer Suhail Bin Rashid President FCCI briefed TDAP Chief about the problems confronted by the local business community and said the government should particularly encourage the value-added sector that was playing an instrumental role in earning precious foreign exchange for the country.
The meeting was also attended by former president FCCI Mian Javed Iqbal, Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association Khalid Habib Sheikh, Muzammal Sultan, Abdul Qayyum, Maqsood Iqbal, Riaz-ul-Haq, Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar, Inam Afzal and Rana Akram Ullah Khan.
