ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said on Monday that upcoming visit of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to France would help cement economic ties between the two countries.
Talking to PTV, she said that European Union (EU) decided to give waiver to Pakistan for export of 70 items and France played a vital role in getting this facility for it.
She said there will be more discussions between the two sides in the context of WTO.
The Spokesperson said main objective of the visit of Prime Minister is to boost economic ties and promote mutual benefit.
She said several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements would be signed and a Business Council will be set up.
She revealed the two countries would establish an economic committee to discuss issues pertaining to the economy.
