KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 23,062.9 million on July 8, 2016.
The State Bank on Pakistan (SBP) said in a statement here on Thursday that the break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
Foreign reserves held by the SBP: US$ 18,104.4 million Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 4,958.5 million Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 23,062.9 million
The statement said that during the week ending July 8 2016, SBP's Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US $25 million to US $18,104 million, compared to US$ 18,129 million in the previous week.
