ISLAMABAD: All field offices of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will remain open and observe working hours from 09:00am to 10:00pm on Wednesday (December 30, 2015) and from 09:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday (December 31, 2015) for receipt of Income Tax returns and collection of duties and taxes.
According to a press release issued by FBR here Tuesday, the Chief Commissioners have also been directed to establish liaison with the State Bank of Pakistan and authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan.
They ensure to transfer of tax collection by these branches before or on 31.12.2015 to the respective offices of State Bank of Pakistan on the same date so as to account for the same towards the collection for the month of December 2015.
