sbpKARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will start issuing Rs 20 commemorative coin to mark the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China and to celebrate 2011 as the Pak-China Friendship year.

The SBP announced here on Thursday that the coin was being issued in line with the decision of the federal government.

The coin will be issued through the exchange counters of all the field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation from 21st May.

The metal composition, shape, dimension and design of Rs. 20 commemorative coin are as under: Metal Composition: Cupro Nickel, Copper 75 percent, Nickel 25 percent; its diameter is 30 mm, weight is 9.5 grams.
