PESHAWAR: State Bank of Pakistan Thursday started issuing fresh currency notes on the eve of Eid ul Azha besides making elaborate arrangement for convenience of the masses.
An official of the Bank said that fresh currency notes are available on various branches of banks in Peshawar, Nowshera, Kohat, Charrsaddha and Mardan, adding that CNIC is not mandatory for issuance of fresh currency notes.
He said that special counters have been set up at bank for the facilitation of the public and issuance of fresh notes.
