ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that Rana Bhagwandas, late former judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, was a man of honour, conviction and the finest of human virtues.
In a letter of condolence addressed to the widow of late Bhagwandas, the Prime Minister told her that her personal loss was irreparable and prayed for her to bear it with courage, patience, equanimity and fortitude.
"He was a judge with impeccable character, flawless integrity, and a keen consciousness of the responsibilities of his high office," the Prime Minister paid tribute to the services of the late judge of the apex Court who also served as chairman of Federal Public Service Commission.
"And as a Pakistani, he was imbued with the deepest sense of patriotism and love for his nation. Indeed Pakistan will forever remain proud of him," he added.
