imageHYDERABAD: Commissioner Hyderabad Division Syed Asif Haider Shah has announced establishment of education cells for monitoring performance of schools and implementation of educational reforms.

The divisional level cell are to be established at Commissioner's Office while district level cells will be set up by the deputy commissioners of all districts of the division so that education grant both from the provincial government and international donors could be utilised in a transparent manner for improvement in quality education, the Commissioner informed.

He stated this while presiding over a meeting here at HDA Secretariat on Friday which was also attended by the Coordinator of the World Bank on Education in Sindh Shafiq Ahmed Paracha.

The Representative World Bank, Javed Shaikh informed that under Reforms Support Units, Sindh Government has allocated Rs 2200 million while World Bank has fixed Rs 400 millions for the purpose.
