RECORDER REPORT
LAHORE: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Punjab Ejaz Chaudhry has said that the federal government's budget has failed to come up to the people's expectation, in fact it has added more burden on them.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting, held here on Saturday to review the reasons behind the defeat in the recent general elections. The meeting reviewed four districts of Punjab, including Gujrat, Narowal, Sialkot and Mandi Bahuddin.
Ejaz Chaudhry observed that the PML-N government has backtracked from its promises made to the people. "The PTI has started preparation for the local bodies elections," he added.
He told the meeting that after the conclusion of series of reviewing meetings, PTI will organize workers conventions at district level, which will provide opportunities to ideological party workers to come forward for local bodies elections.
