ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Farzana Raja on Saturday said that Bhutto family has strengthened democracy in the country after sacrificing their lives.
Talking to APP, she said Pakistan Peoples Party was guardian of the Constitution and democracy in the country as democratic process was on its right path.
To a question, she said democratic norms and values were getting political boost now in the country.
Farzana Raja said PPP would continue the democratic system to serve the poor without any discrimination besides continuing the traditions of political excellence of the Bhutto family in the country.
To another question, she said that Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) had been playing a vital role for improving the economic condition of the poor, needy and deserving people.
