RAWALPINDI: Additional Secretary Ministry of Commerce Kamran Ali Qureshi has said here on Tuesday that government is focusing to enhance the trade relations with Central Asian States and all the neighbouring countries on priority basis.
He said that the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organized single country Expo in Bangladesh last year adding ministry appreciated RCCI efforts and assured full support for such activities in future.
Former President S. Ali Raza Saeed Shah, Bilal Maqbool and other members were also present on the occasion. Kamran Qureshi said that it is need of the hour to boost business activities and Ministry will support every effort made in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion President RCCI Jawed Akhtar Bhatti said that government must bring consistency in the policies and private sector should be taken on board in the policy making process.
He said that RCCI is striving hard to endorse the local products in the international trade markets. "Government must facilitate the Chambers to improve the national economy of the country" he added.
Bhatti vowed that if government supports, RCCI will organize the single country Expos in all the neighbouring countries. He demanded of the government to support private sector for better results.
