Flood-hit people to get Rs25,000 before Eid MUZAFFARGARH: Member coordination committee for rehabilitation of flood hit people, MPA Syed Abdul Aleem Shah said on Friday that a survey has begun to assess damage caused by floods, however, affected people would get first instalment of Rs 25,000 each before Eidul Azha.The survey is being made through revenue record, local people, voters list and representatives of people in a transparent manner as per orders from Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to ensure earliest possible rehabilitation of people in flood-affected areas, the MPA said.The DG Khan based MPA said that he would continue to stay in Muzaffargarh till flood-hit people get their rights.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2014
