Govt successfully tackled terrorism, extremism: Rehman Malik ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik has said that democratic government successfully tackled with terrorism and extremism in the country. Talking to state television, he said that when PPP came into power the country was facing war on terror. He said that democratic government has formed a strategy against terrorism to counter terrorist activities in Swat and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA). The Minister said that Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies had fought bravely against terrorists and rendered many scarifies to overcome this menace. Govt releases Rs 140.2 billion under PSDP ISLAMABAD: The Planning Commission of Pakistan has so far released Rs140.2 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) against the total allocations of Rs 233 billion for the fiscal year 2012-13.
