Rs.18.77 billion GB budget to be presented on June 25

GILGIT: The Budget session which was scheduled to be held on June 21 has been postponed and now it will be held on June 25 in which Rs.18.77 billion budget will be presented.

Finance Minister Muhammad Ali Akhtar told APP that budget is ready for presentation but due to some other unavoidable circumstances it could not be presented today.

He said initially what he can tell Rs.7.77 billion is for development while Rs.11 billion is allocated for non development for the fiscal year 2012-13.

Meanwhile assembly secretariat officials said all kind of preparations for the budget session is ready.
