KARACHI: President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Karachi, Prof. Dr. Zubair Shaikh said that Computer Science Education has become the most important field throughout the world.

According to a Job Outlook survey published by World Economic Forum recently, a large number of employment opportunities are available for Computer Science graduates globally.

The use of computer has become very necessary in every field after the revolution of information technology, said a press release on Friday.

The Vice Chancellor was addressing the students of BS-Computer Science's projects presentation ceremony at University. Associate Dean, Computing and Engineering Faculty, Prof. Dr. Asim Imdad was also present.

The Computer Science students on this occasion presented their projects related to colour, face and time detection, bricks ball and usage of pie game.

Dr. Zubair Shaikh asked the students to work deeply on computer programming and not to be afraid while facing any difficulty in it because it required continuous practice for perfection.

He also advised the students to make their own outlines and logic and avoid copying of others, every student must develop his own language with a specific name.

He said that computer's knowledge is very wonderful through which engineers, doctors, students, teachers, artists, lawyers, businessman, industrialists and sportsman might learn more about their own profession which would help them show their skill and innovation in the field of their choice.

Dr. Zubair Shaikh assured the Computer Science students to provide internship facility and every possible assistance to complete their education enabling them to make a successful professional while entering their practical life.
