LAHORE: A Lahore High Court (LHC) division bench on Wednesday adjourned hearing of bail petitions filed by former railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother former provincial minister Khawaja Salman Rafique in Paragon City scam till June 18.

The division bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi heard the post arrest bail petitions filed by Khawaja brothers.

During the hearing, Advocates Amjad Parvaiz and Azam Nazir Tarar appeared before the court on behalf of the Khawaja brothers and assured that their clients had completed trust in the bench in response to court query.

Subsequently, the bench adjourned further hearing till June 18.

The Khawaja brothers had filed the bail petitions submitting that they did not have any link with Paragon City. They submitted that all allegations levelled against them were baseless whereas the bureau did not have any proof against them.
