ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs to change the category according to law after hearing the stance of Operator in Hajj quota case and disposed of the case.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Mushir Alam and comprising Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan and Justice Yahya Afridi heard the case.
The counsel for the Tour Operator said that the ministry did not make any changes in the category of Operators for the year 2019.
He said that his client's category was changed without notice.
The counsel for the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that the prior notices were not issued to tour operators before changing their categories.
