ISLAMABAD: Met office has forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country, while dust thunderstorm/rain is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Kalat, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during evening/night.

According to the synoptic situations a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to grip some central and upper parts during next 2-3 days and may persist during the week.

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and Sindh. However, rain occurred at one or two places in Quetta division and Lasbella.

Following rainfalls were recorded in millimeters during Last 24 hours.

Balochistan: Lasbella 25, Quetta, Dalbandin Trace.

Today's Highest Maximum Temperatures were recorded as follow:

Noorpur Thal, Bhakkar 45°C, Jaccobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Bahawalnagar  Sibbi & Padidan 44°C,Islambad 37C, Peshawar 39C, Lahore 42C.
