Pesco's high ups meet to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Ramdan

PESHAWAR: A high level meeting of PESCO was held Monday with Chief Executive Officer Engr Muhammad Amjad Khan in the chair to review the measures taken to provide uninterrupted power supply during Seher, Aftaar and Taraveh to the consumers.

The meeting was attended by all the Superintending Engineers of Pesco Circles held here at Wapda House. Important steps were taken for the smooth power supply to the consumers during Seher, Iftaar timings.

The meeting requested the customers to cooperate with Pesco and use electricity economically and minimize the use of electricity during Seher and Iftaar so that system is not over loaded and smooth  supply of power to all customers is ensured and no unanticipated breakdowns occurred.

Pesco has been taken several important steps to give maximum possible  relief in load shedding during the month of Ramadan.  Relief will be given to the consumers of those areas where losses are less and recovery is better. Similarly this relief will also be extendable to other areas, if they avoid illegal use of electricity and remove direct hooks.

A high level Crises Management Cell is being established at Wapda House Peshawar. All necessary arrangement have been made to cope with any emergency and for the quick disposal of the public complaints on emergent basis.

Necessary equipment have been provided to all PESCO sub Divisions and complaint centers, so that any emergency could be tackled promptly.
