Two motorcyclists crushed to death by trailer-truck

KARACHI: Two motorcyclists were crushed to death by a speeding trailer-truck on Karachi’s National Highway on Thursday.

According to rescue and police sources, the speeding trailer-truck knocked down the motorcycle near children’s jail on National Highway and crushed the bike-riders, Sikandar, aged 17, son of Mushtaq and Uzair, 18, son Noor Islam.

The trailer driver managed to escape from the scene.

The police have registered a case against the culprit and impounded the trailer.

IG traffic police Karachi took a notice of the incident and suspended Shah Latif Traffic Section District Malir ASI Gaji Dino Shah for negligence, mismanagement and ordered to conduct enquire against him.
