People of South Punjab ignored in past: CM

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that people of south Punjab were ignored in the name of development in the past.

However, now it is time to change the fate of the underdeveloped areas, he said adding that he was himself monitoring every development project in these areas.

The CM expressed these views while talking to ministers, assembly members, officer-bearers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and party workers here on Sunday.

He said that establishment of the Institute of Cardiology at Dera Ghazi Khan would share the load on hospitals of Multan and Lahore.

The past rulers started work on a new hospital in seven years, but we have launched another hospital in the seventh month of the government.

He said that economic activities would be generated in areas like Taunsa after laying of roads network there, which would ultimately bring prosperity to people.  The CM said that the PTI government was serving people selflessly.
