Hot, dry weather to grip, rain at isolated places

ISLAMABAD: Met office has forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country while rain-thunderstorm and hailstorm (with gusty winds) at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Zhob, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

According to the synoptic situations a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.

Widespread rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, while at isolated places in Lasbella and Dadu.
