ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi called on Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The two leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in various fields. They also discussed security situation in the region.

The two leaders expressed resolve to continue joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
