ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar said on Saturday that all the institutions were working freely in the country and can take action against any person found involved in corrupt practices.

Talking to a private news channel , he said Asad Umar was an asset of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and in future his assistance and advice would be sought in different matters.

It was the prerogative of the prime minister to change any cabinet member or appoint any new person in the  federal cabinet, Dar said.

He said the prime minister had committed from the day only those ministers would stay in the cabinet who would perform.

Dar also criticised the previous governments of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz as they ruined the economy of the country.

To a question, the advisor said a hefty amount would be allocated in the next  budget for renovation of the prisons.

The government had taken many decisions for bringing the economy on track and providing every possible facility to the poor masses to improve their living standard, he concluded.
