Asad Umar appreciates people supporting him even after stepping down

After getting a mixed reaction from the public, Asad Umar has thanked all those people for supporting him even after him stepping down from his post as the finance minister.

Umar took to his Twitter handle and thanked everyone who extended their support to him after he resigned from the finance ministry post. "It is the millions of selfless, ideological, passionate supporters who are guardians of ideology of the tehreek," Umar wrote.

The former minister further wrote that it was the passion of these supporters from which Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team draw energy from.

Following the resignation of Umar from the federal cabinet, several people including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders expressed their solidarity with the former finance minister.

All said & done @Asad_Umar is one of the most competent people around with unquestionable integrity. Extremely important for all of us that he reconsiders his decision & becomes part of the cabinet in any capacity but as soon as possible.
