IHC constitutes commission for recovery of kidnapped citizen

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday constituted a three-member commission for the recovery of an abducted citizen Mir Afridi and directed it to submit report till April 30.

Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani heard the case, filed by the wife of missing person seeking recovery of her husband.

Station house officer, police station Lohebher, assistant commissioner rural and district health officer appeared before the court.

The bench constituted a commission comprising assistant commissioner rural, district health officer and a member human rights cell for recovery of Afridi.

The petitioner pleaded that her husband’s elder brother, mother and a relative managed to kidnap Mir Afridi.

She had given applications to the police but her husband had not been recovered so far.
