DC pays surprise visits to government schools

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed on Thursday paid surprise visits to government schools and Basic Health Unit of Patana village to check different facilities. He was accompanied by DMO Lahore Abid Shaukat and officers of Lahore Education Authority. During his visit to government schools, the DC Lahore inspected dengue related arrangements, cleanliness and staff attendance.
On the occasion he assured the school staff and villagers of Govt Girls High School's Head that soon a head mistress will be appointed within a few days. Later, during his visit to Basic Health Unit Patana, the DC Lahore reviewed the attendance register and medicine stock. He showed his satisfaction over the working of basic health unit.
