Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, has said that process of bringing the FATA in the jurisdiction of Peshawar High Court should be completed as soon as possible. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting held to discuss the political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) here at Zardari House on Saturday.
The party officials briefly informed Zardari about the governance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in KP. Zardari said that PPP's principle stand is to merge FATA with KP. He said that FATA should become part of KP as soon as possible. Zardari also expressed sorrow over the murder of innocent minor girl Asma after rape and directed party office-bearers to ensure legal and moral support for the parents of the girl.
The meeting was attended by President of Women Wing of PPP Faryal Talpur, Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Senator Farhatullah Babar, PPP KP President Humayun Khan, General Secretary PPP KP Faisal Karim Kundi and others.
