Anchorperson avoids appearing before JIT again

Television anchorperson Dr Shahid Masood did not appear on Saturday before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) constituted to investigate the rape-cum-murder of Zainab Amin and other minor girls of Kasur despite repeated summons sent to him by the JIT convener.
Through letters, Convener JIT Muhammad Idrees Ahmed had summoned the anchorperson twice to appear before the investigators to the office of the Regional Police Office (RPO) Sheikhupura and submit evidence to substantiate his accusations regarding alleged existence of 37 foreign and local currency accounts of accused Imran Ali held in Zainab's case. However, Dr Masood neither responded nor appeared before the JIT.
