Muhammad Ammad, Muhamad Hamza took berth into the final of the Under-13 category in the FATA National Junior Squash Championship being played here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Friday. In the first semi-final Muhammad Ammad of PAF, the top seeded player of the Under-13 category, defeated Humam Ahmad of PAF in straight sets, the score was 11-6, 11-6 and 11-5. In the other semi-final of the same category Muhammad Hamza of PAF beat Huzaifa Zahid of PAF by 11-4, 5-11, 11-9, 11-6.
In the Under-11 category Miuhammad Hanif PAF beat Muhammad Shoaib Afzal of KP by 3-2, the score was 11-7, 6-11, 11-9, 3-11, 12-10 in the other semi-final of same category Abdullah Nawaz of PAF beat Zurair Nadeem PB by 3-0 score was 11-6, 11-5, 11-1.
In Under-15 category Noor Zaman PAF beat Waleed Khalil KP by 3-0, the score was 12-10, 11-7, 11-9 and in the second semi-final Hammad Khan of KP defeated Hasnain Khan of Balochistan by 12-10, 11-8 and 11-8 and moved to the final. In the Under-17 category international Uzair Shoukat of PAF beat Hamza Sharif of PAF by 3-0, the score was 11-3, 11-5 and 11-9 while in the second semi-final Farhan Hashmi of Punjab beat Khushal Riaz of PAF by 3-0, the score was 11-5, 11-9 and 11-9. The final of the Championship will be played on Saturday, followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony.
