The provincial government has decided to shift Haji Camp General Bus Stand (GBS) to Sardar Ghari while the land of the existing bus stand will be utilized for the construction of CPEC Tower. In this connection a meeting was held in the Chief Minister's House with District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair. Those who attended the meeting included Director Coordination Sahibzada Mohammad Tariq, Assistant Director Kamran Khan and representatives of the National Logistic Cell (NLC) and Chinese delegation.
The meeting decided that the general bus stand would be shifted to Sardar Ghari under Public-Private Partnership (PPP). For this purpose, a 400 kanal land has been acquired while the 157 kanal land of the existing bus stand will be utilized for the construction of CPEC Tower.
For the purpose of the construction of proposed tower, a Chinese company has been tasked to prepare feasibility study while final report in this regard will be handed over to district government within a period of one month.
