Pakistan Muslim League-N Chitral District President Said Ahmed Khan has criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for allegedly creating hurdles in execution of various development schemes announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his visit to the district in 2016.
Speaking at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club, the PML-N leader said that provincial government on its own part had not done anything for uplift of the people but on the other hand was creating hurdles in materialization of the plans financed by federal government.
He recalled that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his visit to Chitral in September 2016 had promised to establish a university, 250-bed hospital, construct Chitral-Shandoor road under China Pakistan Economic Corridor, extension of Garam Chashma-Bamborate Road and to inaugurate Lowari Tunnel in 2017. He said credit went to Nawaz Sharif who paid visits to Chitral during floods, earthquakes and offered his support to the people in hour of need.
The leaguer was flanked by PML-N leaders including Muhammad Kausar Advocate, Khurhid Hussain Mughal advocate, Village council Koghzi Nazim Muhammad Wazir, demanded of the prime minister to approve C-130 for Chitral during the current cold season in order to help stranded people.
