Today marks the dawn of a new era for PIONEER CEMENT, on this auspicious occasion I would like to thank the Almighty for His blessings enabling us to reach this new milestone. We are today inaugurating a progressive self-sustaining 12 MW WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT and contributing in a small way by reducing the energy shortfall in the country.
I salute my team at PIONEER CEMENT to have been able to assemble this WHR in record time, cost effectively along with our partners from CITIC China.
PIONEER CEMENT has been instrumental in contributing to the national exchequer by way of saving foreign exchange and becoming one of the largest tax payers in the country, not forgetting the thousands of jobs that were created as well.
These achievements would never have been possible without our dedicated team who has worked tirelessly to achieve this goal.
The future of the company is very bright with its plans to further add 8000 TPD (tons per day) line by the end of 2018, increasing its capacity to approx. 4.5 million tons per annum and prospects of other auxiliary businesses encompassing bagging units and further prospects of putting up a plant in the south of the country.
With all these plans I am very confident that we will forge ahead in making Pioneer Cement a leading preferred brand by excelling in our standards and quality. We will continue to set one benchmark after another as a leading cement manufacturer in the country IN SHA ALLAH. We will also further enhance our capabilities to self-generate our own energy requirements by adding another new 12 MW WHR and 24 MW Coal powered plant in the future.
We are now therefore working to expand aggressively in the cement sector for many years to come and become a formidable force in this industry. IN SHA ALLAH
