On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,113. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.80 billion and the number of lots traded was 5,993.
Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1.48 billion, followed by gold PKR 792.03 million, WTI crude oil PKR 400.29 million, silver PKR 103.83 million, copper PKR 27.00 million and Brent crude oil PKR 0.348 million.
