BAHAWALPUR: Shab-e-Mairaj would be celebrated tonight with religious zeal and zest. Special arrangements have been made to observe the holy night.
Mosques have been decorated with green flags and lights in remembrance of Mairaj of Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaho Alahe Wasalam).
According to the sources of Dawat-e-Islami, arrangements have been made for all night long prayers and sermons in various mosques of the city in connection with the holy night.
The main congregations of the night would be held at Faizan-e-Madina, near Bindra Pulli and Masjid Ghousia Jamia Faridia Satellite Town.
The observation is remembrance of the holy night when ALLAH Almighty called on Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaho Alahe Wasalam) at Dana’a and the night when the Holy Prophet led the prayers of all the Prophets at Masjid-e-Aqsa and was later taken to the heavens where he visited Jannah and met Prophets.
