ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Wednesday called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi here at Naval Headquarters.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including security of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar Port, were dilated upon, said a statement issued here by directorate public relations on.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi briefed the chief minister regarding effective measures, Pakistan Navy (PN) had taken for the security of Gwadar Port and its seaward approaches. He also highlighted PN’s initiatives and contributions for socio-economic uplift of the Baloch populace, residing along the Makran Coastal belt.

Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo appreciated the role of PN towards protection of CPEC and Gwadar Port projects and acknowledged its contributions for socio-economic uplift of Balochistan’s coastal area populace.
